He's Something Else
As I mentioned in my previous post, I went out with my friend yesterday. While at the store checking out sale items and stuff, hubby called me. He thought I was at the house and when I said that I am out shopping, he said that he'll just call me back. Then after a few minutes, he called again asking me what's the reason of us hanging up the phone so quick (he's so used of us talking on the phone for 30 minutes to an hour) I said I told him that I was out shopping and he laughed so hard coz he said he can't remember. He's reaction when I told him the reason that made me laugh too. It's like he has an amnesia or something... or is it old age eheheh but geez! He's only 43...err...44 ? Crap! I forgot ehehe wait.... let me calculate...oh yeah he turned 43 last September :)
Massage Chairs By Human Touch
Everyday I seat in front of my computer for several hours and it gives me backache which I always feel specially when I lay down in bed at night when I am getting ready to go to sleep. Every now and then the pain varies, sometimes its tolerable, sometimes its not. My husband would give me a massage whenever he gets a chance but he knows that it isn’t enough so he wanted me to get a massage chair but I refused because a few friends that they have one of their own that doesn’t really work.
But today, I changed my mind as I found a site that offers Massage Chairs which is from an award-winning leader in massage technology and recommended by the American College of Chiropractic Orthopedists. Human Touch is introducing their brand new and amazing HT 7450 Zero Gravity Massage Chair! It calibrates the body frame of the person sitting in it and adjust it according to anyone’s unique physique. All features such as the speed, intensity and technique can be adjusted to an individual’s preference. These are ideal for people who suffer from back pain, neck pain, spinal pain and more. Great gifts for stressed-out, achy and tired people like me. I want one for Christmas.

Have you ever wondered how a lot of people get their online visitors be more involved in their sites? That question has been through my mind for the longest. Then I’ve seen that some has trivia on it, some has different games or some will create a poll using Easy Poll which can be installed easily and is totally free! Polls like “Which is your favorite television show?” or “What operating system are you using?” or even “How do you like playing Computerized Slot Machines?”. Surely polls like this will make your site more interactive and enjoyable to your visitors.

Sweeney Todd
Johnny Depp who has always been in the People’s Magazine’s list of the Sexiest Man Alive is truly a great actor. Some of his movies that is in my fave lists are A Nightmare on Elm Street, Cry Baby, What’s Eating Gilbert Grape, Sleepy Hollow, Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Finding Neverland and Pirates of the Caribbean. But if I were to choose among my favorites, I would say that it’s between A Nightmare on Elm Street and Edward Scissorhands. The scene that I will never forget in Edward Scissorhands is the cookie-making scene. A flashback wherein the inventor had the idea of building Edward. His idea of Edward was not about the brain or his hands or any body part but of his heart. The movie made me cry so hard. While in the movie A Nightmare on Elm Street, this puts me on the edge of my seat and it made me not liking to go to sleep. Anyways, if you are a huge Johnny Depp fan, he has a new movie entitled Sweeney Todd The Demon Barber of Fleet Street that’s coming out this Christmas. If you’d like to see more of it visit the official Sweeney Todd movie site. I’m sure you will love it as it is Johnny Depp. Also, visit Sweeney Todd on MySpace.
Out Again
It wasn't really cold today here in Calumet City. We are in the 40's today but it was very windy. Anyways, we went out with my friend Che. We just went shopping. Not a lot though. I just bought my son a microphone toy as he's been singing lately. Then we went to one of our friend's house and had dinner (beef steak, pinoy style and stir fry veggies) yummers! So full. Then after that we went home :) Eat and Run! ehehehe :) Not so much to tell. I'm in a hurry, gotta do one more opps. Hope I can make it before the cut-off :D

Online Tutoring
Most people now have access to just about everything using the internet. We are living in a digital world already and can do almost anything online, from shopping, banking, setting up business, paying bills and even tutoring. And speaking of tutoring, this is the one that I am looking forward to when my little one starts going to school. I’d like a tutor that could help me teach him in certain areas like Math, Algebra or any subject that even myself had a hard time learning when I was in school. One of my friends mentioned that TutorVista.com is one of the leading online tutoring company that offers a world class service. They offer tutoring on all subjects, test prep, homework help, languages and many more. And believe it or not they were featured on NBC’s Today Show, which means they really are one of the best. As of today, they are offering an unlimited monthly tutoring package for all subjects. They are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. So if you want to provide your kids a head start and achieve their academic potential and goals with their studies, don’t’ hesitate to visit TutorVista.com. They can absolutely help!

Compare Prices With Save Buckets
Everytime I’d like to buy something whether its online or a physical store I always like to compare prices first. That’s why I don’t take my husband with me when I’m shopping because he doesn’t have a lot of patience when it comes to that. But most women knows what I am talking about. We always like to shop around and check first which is the best deal before we buy it. It takes time I must admit, but I found a good way to save time comparing prices and of course save money. SaveBuckets is an online comparison shopping service that’s free to use. They’ll help us find the product we want at the best price because their site allows us to compare prices from a wide range of products through hundreds of different stores. From mp3 player, ipods, digital camera, clothing, household items, or anything under the sun. A good thing because with this site, we can always stick to our budget.
Strange huh!
I just got off the phone with our old post office. I was inquring if they got my change-of-address request because it has been over a month and I am not getting any forwarded mail. Strange because I used to get a lot of mails in our old address now I don't get anything, which is probably a good thing, but I am worried also about those important mails that I am waiting for. I think this time, I need to call my new post office. Hassle here and there haaaa!
Digital Framez
Most people probably has a digital camera now to capture every single moment during special occasions like birthdays, Christmases, New Years or just even an ordinary day. And we always want to share it with our family and friends. In the past, when we have guests at home the thing that we’d do is to share with them our photo albums and sometimes it is a hassle getting them. Why? Because they are bulky and heavy. Now, we can share our pictures using a digital photo frame, no more heavy or bulky photo albums nor we don’t need to have tons of pictures frames scattered all over our house. All we needed to have is one or a couple of digital frames in our living room or family room or anywhere you want to put them. DigitalFramez.com offers great digital picture frames from 7” to 15”, and since Christmas is coming they are offering an extra 5% discount. They ship worldwide so you can order no matter where you are.
It sucks!
I wasn't able to do anything last night coz my internet went off again. I called them at 2 o'clock in the morning (imagine at 2 a.m.!!!) coz I have a deadline to meet with smorty. They told me that they are doing some kind of maintenance ek-ek (again!??!! happened last week too) that would last for a few hours. Now I am up at 7 a.m. so I can hurry up and do this opps before it expire. Geez! I'm having a headache :(

Window Cleaning
The one thing that my husband is bothering me about when we were still in the old house was me not cleaning the windows. We lived there for like six years and he said he only saw me cleaning the windows twice. Geez! I’m not the laziest person in the world but I don’t feel like cleaning 14 windows! Yes we have at least 14 windows in that house not including the basement glass blocks. I’m sure I will be hearing the same thing in this house that is why I’m gonna go ahead and call some people that offers Window Cleaning Services. I think at this point WindowGang.com stands out in my list because they don’t just cater to window cleaning but also blind, gutter, concrete and deck & fence cleaning, roof washing and chimney sweeping. They even offer free estimate. All you have to do is call them so their thoroughly trained crews can pay you a visit. Comes in handy isn’t it? :)
Never Made It!
Tuesday again people, it is supposed to be my cut-off day with my data entry job but I didn't make it because it's been a very busy week for me, you know, Thanksgiving stuff... so that means I won't be getting any check this week argggh! Oh well, thankfully there's PPP, Smorty Sponsored and Blogsvertise atleast :) That helps a whole lot!
Ink Cartridges
Have you ever been in a situation wherein you are standing in the middle of a store trying to look for the things you need but you can’t find it? I have been through that so many times specially when I am looking for office supplies like an ink cartridge. To me looking back and forth is a waste of time, so now I’d rather get the stuff that I need online. And when it comes to cartridges, Cartridge Finder is my bet because they can help me find whatever cartridges I need whether its for my printer, fax machine or copier.

Traditional Or Contemporary?
When we moved to this new house, it is so dark as there’s no lighting in the living room but an old floor lamp, the chandelier in the dining room looks so wear out and the light in the kitchen isn’t working at all. So what my husband did was to get temporary light fixtures so we’re not living in this lifeless house. Since he is busy and don’t have time to deal with it, he passed on to me the mission of eventually changing all of them. Traditional chandeliers are one of the things that I am thinking of getting for the dining room because they have this homey feel to it. In the living room I am torn between contemporary and casual lighting fixtures. I’m looking at the website Farreys.com and can’t decide because they have a lot of home lighting products to choose from. I guess I still need to consult my husband and help me decide on which to buy.
Monday
Hi everyone! Its Monday again...a start of a new week. I woke up at 11:00 a.m. with a terrible headache. Thankfully my aspirin works very well on me. 15 minutes and my headache is totally gone! Although I still feel sleepy, don't know why :D Sleepy head me eheheheh Anyways, enjoy your week guys and take it easy! Till next blog!
Spring Training
Baseball is known as Americas’ favorite past time and every year a lot of people are looking forward to watching and attending baseball games. I only watch baseball on television, but in the past, my husband had the chance to watch his favorite team play in person. That was the time when he was still living in Minnesota. He and his friend went all the way to Boston just to see a spring training of one of the teams. His friend is a die hard fan of The Boston Red Sox. Yearly, he attends every game of his favorite team (I think he has a season tickets). At this time he already checked out the Boston Red Sox Spring Training Schedule which is gonna be held in Ft. Myers, Florida. And he already have tickets too. I bet a lot of you are getting their Boston Red Sox Spring Training tickets already to see your favorite players up close and personal. And I’m sure you all can’t wait to see your team defend their World Series title this coming baseball season so I suggest you grab your tickets now!

Secret Amazon Codes
I have been an amazon.com shopper for a couple of years now and getting an Amazon coupon codes is always an absolute thing for me. Although I didn’t get any chance of getting a discount Amazon gift certificate last Black Friday, I am looking forward to shopping with them this coming Cyber Monday. A tip from a friend brought me to a site called DealLocker.com, a site wherein you can avail of the Secret Amazon discounts that other site has no access of getting. Thanksgiving is over and that means we need to hurry up and finish our Christmas shopping for our loved once and even for us of course because before you know it 25th of December is already here. I already bought a few items for my son, but the list of people that needs to be bought a present is still long. Like for example my friend’s request is a Guinness Book of World Record. While the other one asks for perfume. I was thinking of buying my husband a portable DVD player but he bought himself one already so now I don’t know what to give him. Probably a new GPS system will do. As for me I am thinking of getting myself a new digital camera as my digicam right now is acting up. It’s making me crazy. I gotta get a new one.
Spiderman
I have seen Spider-man 1 & 2 probably a hundred times. Last Friday we got the chance to see Spider-man 3 and it was good just like 1 &2, but it made mo so sad because Harry died!!!! waaaa!!!! I wonder if there's Spider-man 4 in the making. I just wish that Harry didn't die.. I like James Franco eh. ;D
Concert, Sports, Arts & Theater Tickets
Back in the Philippines it’s always hard to get a ticket when you want to watch a concert of your favorite artists or bands. It is always sold out. Lucky for those people who live in England as they have Viagogo.co.uk wherein they can buy concert tickets or tickets for a sporting events and so as arts and theater tickets. I checked their site and was so jealous of the fact that tickets are on sale for the beautiful and ninth time Grammy Award winner Alicia Keys’ concert which will be held in SECC Glasgow, Men Arena Manchester in Manchester, NIA Birmingham in Birmingham and O2 Arena in London. If I could I would like to be seating in the front row seat listening to her songs like A Woman’s Worth and Fallen.
Grammy Award Winner Alicia Keys
But Viagogo.co.uk aren’t only for those who loves to watch concerts. They also cater for people who loves sports. You can also avail Formula 1 Tickets, Golf Tickets and Tennis Tickets with them. Your ticket transactions are always 100% guaranteed safe and secure as it is supported by their customer service team that’s available to you 24/7 thru phone or e-mail. So you know that you will get your ticket online no matter what.
Cold and Snowing
Last Thanksgiving it snowed here but not a lot, I wanted to take a picture but I was very busy cooking. It's getting colder and colder everyday. Geez! It's very cold outside and just so glad that I don't need to go out. Oh and it snowed today a little bit. Other people hates cold weather specially when it's snowing as it is very dangerous to drive in a snowy weather. But as for me who doesn't go to work I love it when its snowing and honestly I can't wait for the first full blast of snow. It's just so nice to look at so white as if sugar was poured in your front and backyard :)
Real Estate Issues
We just moved to our new house 3 months ago but believe it or not we are thinking of buying a new one out in the north suburb or maybe out of Illinois and selling this one. Not that we don’t want this house, but it’s because of my husbands work. Anyways, I have checked RealEstateBook.com (I've read about them from one of my friends' blog) and let me tell you that the site is very easy to navigate. I enjoyed looking at different houses from different states that’s in my price range, not to mention that you can browse lists of international homes for sale. Homes for Sale in the Bahamas, Mexico, Panama, Cayman Islands and even in the beautiful Costa Rica just to name a few. If you like, you can also request for their FREE real state book magazine. So if you are like me looking for homes, or foreclosure homes, or would like to know how much your home’s worth or even looking for financial options, visit RealEstateBook.com because they can help you with all real estate related issues.
Yey!
Ho! Ho! Ho! Santa's gonna be happy with me this year. I sure am a nice person this 2007 I guess because of the tons of candy that I had. My dentist is gonna be mad at me :) But this year is really a great and fruitful year for me. A lot of things to be thankful about.
You Were Nice This Year! |
You're an uber-perfect person who is on the top of Santa's list. You probably didn't even *think* any naughty thoughts this year. Unless you're a Mormon, you've probably been a little too good. Is that extra candy cane worth being a sweetheart for 365 days straight? |

My son had just celebrated his 4th birthday and it was great. Although I was a little pissed when I was taking their pictures because my digital camera is acting up. It kept on saying card cover open even when it’s not. I have to keep pushing the card cover every time I want to take a picture. I don’t know what’s wrong because I see that the cover is pretty much ok. I only had this digital camera for two years and I think I need to replace it now. I don’t wanna miss a great picture moments (i.e. from birthdays, Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Year) because my camera is acting up. I have been shopping for one now and I think I am to buy right now I’d get the Nikon Coolpix S51. I like the fact that it is light and slim (good for an on the go mommy like me), it has 8.1 mega pixel and a 3.0” LCD. But I am also looking into getting a MiniDV camcorder and I like the Sony DCR-HC96 Mini-DV DV Camcorder. It has a capacity of taking digital still photos too so I might get this one instead of buying a separate digital camera. With this it’s like getting two products in one. And why not get digital photo frames to top it all off? It’s not a bad thought isn’t it? A subtle way of showing off great pictures if you ask me.
Happy Sunday!
So how's everybody doing this Sunday afternoon? Me and my son just woke up an hour ago. I haven't done anything but wash our face and ate breakfast. Now I'm already sitting in front of my computer checking everything from emails to opps. Had a little chat with Ms. Tess too. In a few I'm getting ready to wash clothes and straighten up the house a bit :)
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday! Later!
Personalized Gifts
As I have mentioned in my previous post, today me and my friend went out to go shopping. We were hoping that we still can get some good deals from Black Friday. I am trying to look for stuff that I can give to my friends this coming Christmas as it is just around the corner. But unfortunately, we were not able to get anything.
While doing my usual routine online, I came across a site that gave me a wonderful gift idea. It is called FrameMyPhotos.com and I am talking about personalized photo mugs. Isn’t that neat? I have checked the site and I’d say that their products are well priced considering that it is personalized. Also they offer personalized items for different occasions like birthdays, weddings, anniversaries etc. As for me, I am leaning towards their photo mugs which, I believe are a great Christmas present for my friends because most of them are coffee drinkers anyway, plus the fact that they can use if for a very long time.

Doesn't that look awesome! I'd like to get one for myself too.
Went Shopping
Today, I went out with my friend Cheryl mainly because she wants me to go with here in the CIS department to have her fingerprinted (for her citizenship) and ofcourse to go shopping :) We didn't get a lot though as all the items on sale are gone! But, I was able to get me a few pair of jeans :) Thank God! Coz I badly needed it. All my jeans doesn't fit me anymore :) It's either they shrunk from the washing machine or I am just getting fat.. I guess its the latter arrrggg We went to the filipino store too :)

New ISP
Not having an internet access for a day makes me so crazy! Why? I do a lot of things online. I do my data entry job, pay our bills, talk to my family and friends and of course there is the blogging and more. When I first got here we only use a dial-up but now it is out of the question because I need a fast internet access. Although I am using a cable connection right now, I find it still a little slow and their service is not as good as when we first subscribed to them. Plus I am not satisfied with their customer service. Right now I am looking for a new internet service provider that will give me a broadband connection access. One of my friends told me that I should be looking into GetISP.info. She said that the site will help me compare internet providers from Dial-up, Satellite, wireless, cable, DSL, and even VOIP. Also, she mentioned that they have tons of information about preventing junk emails, spam blockers and so as how to protect my PC from spyware and adware. I guess this is a site that is really worth checking because I might be able to save some money in doing so.
Still Up
It is almost 3 a.m. and I am still up (what so surprising about that ehehehe). Hubby and kiddo here is in the lalaland already. I need to be in bed because I gotta wake up early as Che is gonna be picking me up at 10 a.m. We are gonna go shopping.... i mean window shopping :D I will be leaving the little one here to my husbandry :D wohooo! It's yaya's day off! eheeehhe Ok folks... will be posting one opps and I am off to bed.
Thanks very much for always visiting me here. TC!
Breathtaking Colorado
My husband has been traveling a lot recently due to his work. He’s been to several states but the one thing that captivated his attention is the breathtaking mountains of Colorado. Although he knows that the real estate business is kinda fluctuating every now and then, but he said that the thought of buying a house there is a pretty fine idea. Right now he’d like to know how Denver real estate is going. He is considering Denver, Colorado because my husband is an outdoor person. He likes biking, camping, fishing and the likes. We heard that Denver is one of the best places to do all that. And of course for our little one they have museums, zoo and botanic gardens. Well, we’ll see how this works for us. Who knows, maybe sooner or later we will be residents of the beautiful Colorado.
Hubby Misses Her
Earlier tonight, I heard my husband talking to his mom. They are having a light healthy argument about who didn't call who yesterday. My hubby claims that he called his mom to greet her Happy Thanksgiving but I guess his mom says that he didn't :) They settled it but after a few seconds from hanging up the phone, hubby grabbed it again and called his mom, asked what she's doing and said that we will pick her up from her house and just stay here for a while. I guess she agreed ehehehe. So we got ready, hopped in the van and off we went. Hubby did the driving in the expressway, then he let me drove passed the expressway to my MIL's house. To make it short, we got back to the house and watched a movie. They had a little talk and he took her back to her house. :) I guess hubby misses his mom, and vice-versa coz they hadn't seen each other in a while. It was a great evening!

Art Walk
Do you enjoy art? One of my husband’s aunt is an art enthusiast and loves photography so much. She has quite a collection of paintings and photographs in her house. Wherever she goes, the first thing that she looks for is the nearest art gallery. I think she’s been invited and have attended a lot of art exhibits here in Illinois.
Now, I am thinking of telling her about the St. Augustine Artwalk which happens every first Friday and Saturday of the month in Florida. I am sure she will have a blasts in checking out not only the America’s oldest city’s latest exhibits but so as the music, refreshments, photography & entertainments. The featured St. Augustine Artists are Beau Redmond, Jean Troemel, Peter O’Neill, Trip Harrison, Jan Miller, Sydney McKenna and Ray Brilli to name a few. Attendees are offered a complimentary shuttle service to most of the galleries courtesy of Augustine Sightseeing Trains and Old Town Trolleys which run on a continues loop every 30 minutes. Also, the admission for this First Friday Weekend Art Walk is absolutely free! Knowing my husband’s aunt, she’ll be in St. Augustine and will start exploring in no time.

Desk for Me & My Son
When I am busy working I’d like my desk to be stable and comfortable because my son always likes to seat next to me. But right now the problem is that my computer table is jiggly because it isn’t really an office table, it is just a regular table as I left my computer table in the old house. You’d probably noticed in my posts that I keep mentioning that I left a lot of things in the old house, yes we did left a lot there because my husband wanted everything new, but we will not buy it at once instead buy it one at a time. So right now I am looking forward to buying a new desk, probably a partner desk that would work for me and my son, because right now every time he plays on my desk and I am working, I get dizzy as the table jiggles a lot. Other than an office table, bedroom furniture, Living Room Furniture and Furniture Home Office is in our list. I know where to go to when it comes to checking all this stuff. FurnitureFromHome is the best place because their site has a lot of great looking furniture pieces. You can find what you are looking for easily as it is well categorized. You can shop by color, by style or by room. What I am looking right now is the pieces that’s on sale of up to 30 percent. Visit them and see it for yourself, there might be a piece that would interest you.
My Turkey
This is a picture of my turkey (10 lbs. only) just before we ripped it apart :D Poor turkey. If you'd see it at this moment, it doesn't look like a turkey anymore ehehehehe I curved all the white meat and made my hubby a sandwich to bring to work tomorrow :D
With the turkey/gravy, I also cooked mixed veggies (broccoli, carrots, cauliflower blanched and buttered, then just added salt and pepper) sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes (its Thanksgiving so we don't need to watch our carb or calorie intake ehehehe) dirty rice, mac & cheese which lionel loves, dinner rolls, cranberry sauce and sweet potato pie (hubby loves this) for dessert. We have some wine also (which I didn't take even a sip ehehehe coz I know what it's gonna do to me :D)
LED Christmas Lights
Thanksgiving is over and now everybody is starting to decorate their houses for the coming Christmas. Probably the others have done it already. Well, as for us here, we will be starting to put up our Christmas tree and put some blinking lights either this coming Saturday or Sunday. I might have to buy more lights because we left some of our Christmas lights in the old house. I am thinking of buying HolidayLED’s Christmas lights as they are more efficient and will use 90% less energy, safer and cooler to the touch and it has a lifetime warranty. I love the look of their snowflake lights and icicle lights so that’s what I’m planning to buy. So check it out, I am sure you will find something that suit your taste and will give your house a great look this holiday season. Don’t forget that they also have a 30-day no question ask return policy.
So Full!
Whew! It's almost 11 p.m. but I still feel so full. I ate like there's no tomorrow. I had to or else I don't feel like it's Thanksgiving ehehehehe... Anyways, I will post pictures of my turkey later on. Hubby said that I don't have to take picture everytime I cook turkey.. who cares! I want to :D Ok guys, till later! I feel like sleeping right now :D. Will tell you more about our day in a few.
A Chance To Win A Hollywood Trip!
Making sure that our cars are in good running condition is my husband’s job. He does everything from checking the brakes, tires, transmission to changing the oil. But lately, he’s been very very busy and couldn’t do it anymore. So now, he’s relying to the certified technicians of AAMCO. Like now for example, he needs to bring our van to the nearest AAMCO and have it checked as it hasn’t been used in a while. It probably needs to be tuned-up and a change oil. Also, the locks needs to be checked as it is not working properly. He’s a little excited because we found out that AAMCO is having a Die Hard / Drive Hard Hollywood promotions! All that needs to be done is to either visit an AAMCO Dealer or visit AAMCO.com to enter for a chance to win a trip to Hollywood! Hollywood in California?! Who wouldn’t want that?! That’s just so exciting. I will even have a chance to see my cousins there if I am given the chance to win that promotion. So for all your car care needs i.e. transmission, oil, lube, filter change, tune-ups and everything visit one of their 800 locations in U.S. or Canada and enter for a chance to win a Hollywood trip!

Santa Claus is the sneakiest being in the world. No matter how our kids try to stay awake waiting for him to come down the chimney on Christmas day, they can’t seem to have a glimpse of him while he’s putting presents under the tree. But how do you like the idea of your kids receiving personalized Letters From Santa? Yes, it is possible. Visit LettersFromSanta.com to see how you can give your children a Christmas memory that will last forever.

Sleepy Head No More!
Today, my internet has been acting up since 3 o'clock in the morning. So I decided to just go to sleep and will deal with it in the morning. When I woke up at around 10 a.m. internet is still not working. Called the company but they can't see what the problem was... After messing around with it for a little while I finally had it working. Wew! This afternoon, my PPP is acting up.. can't seem to view the blogger dashboard. Sent a ticket already and still waiting for their reply. I guess that's God's way of saying "Roselle get some sleep!" :D So I just went to take a nap (that was around 5p.m.) woke up at 8:00 p.m....Had a great sleep today.
Freeze It!
My mother-in-law is a retired Principal from a public school here in Chicago. She dealt with kids for probably over 30 years. She started out as a teacher, so dealing with kids is her thing and she enjoyed it but expressed that it was a lot of work. She teached them, played with them, helped them with their school projects and things like that.
In school, you can’t help it when kids play around. One time, while she’s on her way to her classroom a few kids playing in the hallway accidentally bumped into her which made her fall off the floor. She injured her hip and shoulder. The incident made her miss school for a few days as she suffered from a great deal of pain specially on her shoulder. Eventually, she recovered from her injury but the pain didn’t go away as quickly as she wants it to. As I mentioned earlier, she’s retired now and had a lot of rest already, but once in a while still complains to me about the pain on her shoulder. It bothers her from time to time specially during the cold winter months.
Last Sunday she came to pick us up (we‘re going out as it is my son‘s birthday), it was very cold, she’s been driving all day and she asked me if I have something that she can put on her shoulder and knees as it is aching. I said I don’t have anything, but suggested that we drop by to the drugstore to get a Freeze It Gel. She ask me what it was. I said it is a pain reliever for back, shoulder and neck pain and she can use it also for her knee and hip and so as for her arthritis. Then off we went, got the Freeze It, she used it and was amazed how she can feel the instant effect of Freeze It on her shoulder and knees. Yesterday, she called, thanked and told me that for the first time she slept through the night and woke up in the morning without feeling any pain. I was so thankful because I found Freeze It (saw it posted from a friend’s blog actually). I am so glad that I can be of help to her because she is a very nice and kind lady. I am sure getting a free supply of Freeze It will help her have a pain free year!

Ecommerce Solutions
People right now prefer shopping online to avoid the hassle of spending too much money for gas and the hassle of falling in line. That is why online selling is booming right now. Why? Because it is easier to manage an online store compared to having a store placed or located in a mall or somewhere else where you have to drive up early just to open it plus your customers are limited. Unlike when you have an online store, you have much much more customers because they can access your product from anywhere in the world.
So If you are an online store owner or wanted to start one, you should probably consider using Ecommerce Software. What is an Ecommerce Software? Selling goods and services online is also called ecommerce. Selling online effectively needs a help of a web site equipped with certain features like a shopping cart, credit card processing capability, product catalogs and the likes. One of these website that you might wanna consider is Network Solutions. They have an Ecommerce Software that’s powered my MonsterCommerce. Visit their website now if you are interested as they have a flexible and affordable packages for you to help you reach your goals.

Do You Have Title Insurance?
I have been asking my husband what is the importance of title insurance and why do we need it because he’s been asking me for a long time to look for title companies. He didn’t answer my question and said just do what he asked me to. So today, I finally got the chance to browse around and found that title insurance is important because it will protect us if somebody would claim that our property (i.e. our home) is still legally theirs. Having a title insurance policy, we as the owner, will have an indemnity contract that will reimburse us for loss in the event someone asserts a claim against our property that is covered by the policy. This is good to know because we’ll never know, sometimes even if the title has been searched thoroughly, there may still be problems. Like for example if somebody forged the deed, mistakes in recording legal documents, misinterpretations of wills Deeds by person of unsound mind, deeds by persons supposedly single, but in fact married or even lien for unpaid estate. Having title insurance will pay for defending against any lawsuit attacking the insured title which means peace of mind on the part of the property owner. So if you have properties that aren't insured yet, consider looking for title insurance companies now.

Will Be Playing This Thanksgiving
Yesterday, my mom-in-law is here and she’s talking about what she’s gonna be doing this Thanksgiving. She said that her grandkids are coming so she’ll be very busy cooking soul foods. Her grandson and grand daughter is coming from Wisconsin and its’ been a while when they last visited Chicago. They wanted to enjoy it fully and one of her grandkids wants them to go to one of the casinos here but she said she can’t do it anymore because for sure she will be very tired from cooking and preparing dinner for them all day. But she said that they can still play if they want. She suggested that they just play an online casino through bet365.com. She explained that bet365.com is the world’s leading online gambling groups and doesn’t just offer online casino but so as sports betting. It is a no fuss website as they only need one username and password to play to every game they want. By the way, her grandkids are over 21. Anyways, that’s what they decided to do. They said that they are leaning more on playing online poker so I guess that’s what they will be doing for the rest of the Thanksgiving night.
The Birthday Boy
These pictures were taken yesterday while waiting for his grandma. By the way, that was the gift that I've been waiting forever! I'm glad it came just in time for his birthday.

Very Disappointing! (Vent About USPS)
I have been venting about how I've been waiting for my son's birthday present to come to the mail. I checked the status online just now and according to USPS (United States Post Office), they attempted to deliver it last Tuesday at 4:35 p.m. and left a notice. Heck! Nobody left a notice nor rang the bell that day. I have been waiting for that the whole week. It was very impossible for me to miss them if they rang the bell because I was here all week. I even got to thinking that they might have delivered it to 155th Street, instead of 155th Place where I live. Because today, they delivered a mail here that supposed to be delivered in 155th Street. Very disappointing. I will be calling them tomorrow and I hope they will deliver it instead of me going to the post office to pick it up coz it's their fault anyway.
Free Blogger Cards!
Have you been looking for ways to have your blogs be known in the world wide web or even outside the digital world? Good news for bloggers because there’s a new way to attract readers and traffic to your site now. Ooprint.com is an online printing service that offers blogger cards using Business Card 2.0, which is probably the newest trend in the blogging sphere right now. Blogger card’s tag cloud are modifiable to pay more attention to the keywords that are important to your blog. If you are interested to know more about it, visit their site and you can avail their Free blogger cards which will allow you to introduce and expand your horizon outside the cyber world.
Back!
I'm sleepy, tired and dizzy. Geez! this aspirin is making me shaky (had to take it coz of this darn headache, I guess it's because of me staring at my monitor all day all night :D). Anways, we went out but I wasn't able to get the cake yet as MIL got caught up with some unavoidable situation. We had to wait for her, then just went to the pharmacy to get my son's skin cream as he's starting to break out again because of the cold weather. Then just went to get some food as I am terribly hungry (didn't eat anything when we left the house). Now I am back and here I am staring at monitor again and start checking opps eeeheehehehe :) After this I'll just relax for a while and probably take a nap.
Fundraising Ideas
When I was still living in Chicago, one of my neighbors is encouraging me to be a volunteer in one of the cities fundraising organizations. But unfortunately at that time I still have a little one to take care so I couldn’t do it. Now, my little one is 4 years old already and will be in school next year, I’m thinking of joining some school fundraising activities. Education is very important to our children’s lives. That will be their foundation in having a good life in the future. Browsing around the internet about fundraising organizations, I stumbled a website called USAFundarising.com that has a lot of fundraising ideas. Aside from ideas for school fundraisers, they also have church, sports and online fundraising ideas. Their site also has good resources on fundraising tips, tools and letters. It really is worth checking out.
Be Out For A While
I'm waiting for my mother-in-law to be here coz we will be going out for a while. I'll be buying my son his birthday cake and birthday card. :) It's Friday already, hope I will get the present that I bought him online. Can't wait, I know he will be happy to see it on his birthday. He's getting really big now. Soon, I will be busy taking him to school, doing his homeworks and other school activities. It sure will be exciting but a lot of work :)
Better Caring
In the near future I will be petitioning my parents. They can’t wait for that as they love to see my son and be with him while they can. One thing bothers them though, they said, they didn’t wanna get old here as they will just be put in one of those homes for the aged. I said, they will be very surprised as nursing homes here are very dedicated to providing a comprehensive service to elderly people like them. Take for example Bettercaring. They will help you from searching for the right type of care to finding the funds to pay for it and so as answering your crucial questions about the care Bettercaring can provide for either you or your loved ones. They offer three caring options, first off is the care at home, residential care & more importantly is financial aspect.
If you are interested in seeking Bettercaring’s help, visit their website at www.bettercaring.com and you will know all the information you need in getting care for your elderly loved ones.

Its Almost Friday
Its almost Friday and I still don't have plans for my son's birthday. *sigh* *sigh* He's daddy is not gonna be here on his birthday, and that really sucks, buy hey he has to do what he's gotta do. Right now, I'm thinking of just taking him and some of my friends' kids to ChuckeE.Cheese's. They can play there till they get tired. Just order some pizza and probably bring a birthday cake. *sigh* *sigh* Hope Che will agree with me so I don't have to call my MIL to drive us there. One thing that's also a bit frustrating is that I haven't receive the gift for him that I bought online. I don't know what's taking them this long. I hope it will be here by tomorrow.

Before I get off the car whenever we go places, it is my habit to check my face in the car visor’s mirror. But sometimes it pisses me off because my husband will stick his mails and other papers there so when I pull it down, all the stuff would fall on my lap or on the car’s floor. Sometimes when I am not in a very good mood, we’d end up arguing about it.
Today, I found a website that sells Stuck-Up. It is an ultimate car organizer that you can put on your car visor. You will be able to put your little things there (i.e. pens, headsets, or your lip gloss maybe) to keep them tidy and not all over the place. They are available in different colors and the fun thing about it is you can design your own stuck-ups. It’s a cool thing to have in your car. If you want to Get Stuck Up for yourself or as a gift to family or friends, visit their website at www.getstuckup.com. By the way, I will be getting one too and will give it to my husband.

Pretty Cold!!! Brrrrrr!
Today, we woke up early because Cheryl will come by to drop my kulet's cocoa butter. When she got here, she ask me if I wanna go with her to the Mexican store where we bought our "chicharon" the last time. I agreed. I woke up kulet and then get dressed and went. Geez! It was so cold!!! The temperature is in the high 30's but it feels like its below than that because of the freaking wind! According to the weather news, tonight is gonna be the coldest so far... Typical Chicago weather wew! Love it compared to extreme heat though.
Money Crisis?
Holiday Season is just around the block if you ask me. Some of us started our Christmas shopping already. But sometimes we get caught up in spending too much money or we’d receive unexpected bills during this season so we tend to need extra cash in our hands. The best thing we can do is to avail a short-term Payday Loans. The one you can rely on is PaydayLoanQuotes.com. They offer an easy and quick way to bridge your cash needs between pay days with no credit check at all. The application process is simple because all you have to do is fill out an online form. He Really, Really Loves Fish
This photo was taken a few months back in my friend's house. I'm telling you guys, he loves fish a lot! When we stepped in the house and he saw the aquarium, he didn't leave the thing. He stood there for the longest, just looking at the fish. He was probably amazed on how they can stay in the water for a very long time.
If You Want A New Car...
Buying a car isn’t always as it easy as it seems. Sometimes you are torn between the makers and so as the prices. It is always a wise decision to compare the worth of each cars. There are many ways to do that. You can check out classified ads, car magazines, your local newspapers and of course, there’s the internet. For me, internet is the best way to go because they offer plenty of information resources about buying new cars.
One good example is CarsBlvd.com. You can compare cars from Toyota, to Ford, Dodge, Jeep and last but certainly not the least is Honda Cars. Say you are leaning more towards Honda, you can visit CarsBlvd.com’s website and they will give you Honda Car Quotes below wholesale prices fast and free! With that you can choose among the Honda Car Prices that best fit your budget. They also offer car loans, refinance, auto insurance and warranty, so you don’t need to look for any other site as they have it all for you.
