Driving Update

Okay, finally the day is over. This afternoon my husband took me out to practice driving. I think I drove at least 13 miles on the freeway! From here in Calumet City to our old house in Chicago...Geez! I wanted to faint again but I felt much better this time than the first time I drove on the darn freeway. I am much more confident now although my heart is still pounding as heck! Whew! As usual, hubby is yapping next to me about this and that. Like... did you see that car? Do you think you can change lane now etc. etc. etc. It was very stressful but nevertheless, I had a blast ehehehe He even taught me how to pump gas... That was my first time :D Oh by the way, hubby drove back home. Don't wanna take a chance in driving at night just yet. Need tons of practice pa po.

Anyways, he said we will do it again tomorrow.... errr I mean later today :D

Will keep you posted.... even if you are not interested ehheeheh TC all!

I am proud to say that I have been married to my husband for over 7 years now. Everything is going well, although it’s not always smooth sailing, which is expected in a marriage, but our relationship is as stronger as ever. For some of you who doesn’t know yet, I met my husband online 8 years ago. Everytime my husband would introduce me to his friends whether single or divorced, they are pretty interested on how and what chatroom did we meet. Happy Weekend!

Hi Folks! It’s Saturday again… Hope you are all having a great weekend. As for me, I’m a bit of a nerve wreck right now as my hubby said that he will be giving me a darn crash course in driving. Heck! That’s the least thing I wanna do right now. I don’t want him teaching me because it makes me more nervous and feel like fainting. The last time, he had me drove in the freeway.. Geez! Those big trucks is killing every bit of my last nerve. Anyways, we’ll see how it goes…

In the meantime, let’s try to enjoy our weekend! TC all!

5. Secret Service staff won't respond to "psst... psst".

4. Secret Service staff will not be comfortable driving the presidential car with a Holy Rosary hanging on the rear view mirror or the statue of the Santo Nino on the dashboard.

A Little Stressful Day

Today is a bit stressful for me. Woke up so early as hubby left for work and won't be back till Saturday. Then after that, people from heating/cooling company came. They are going to install new furnace coz the one we have right not is kinda old, so it needed to be replaced. They haven't finished the work so they'll be back tomorrow. Man! I hate dealing with this kind of stuff. So glad my MIL is here now ehehehehe. I don't have to wake up early tomorrow wohhoo! Thanks Mom! It wasn't really a bother that those people are here... but it was so hot today and I can't turn the central air on as they have not finish the job. Electric fans can't really cool the rooms here. I have to deal with this hot weather till they are completely done.. Geez! I don't know what exactly they did today, but darn! I don't wanna know coz it's in the crawl space area, and there is no way... as in no way that I'm goin' in there just to check! It's a scary place for me to be in ehehhehe.

Oh well, that's my vent of the day :D None sense huh?! :) Yeah, but thanks for reading. TC!

A Quick Cash Advance Loans

Earlier today, I was chatting with my friend and she told me that one of her cousins in the Philippines borrowed money from her. They promised to pay her on Monday but she said that up to this moment they hasn’t paid her. Now she has an emergency situation and needs some money. She asked me if I have any suggestions on where to get a cash advance. The one thing that immediately came through my mind is cashadvance1500.com. It’s a short-term, small pay day loans that does not require credit checks. I told her that she can apply for cash advance loans through the internet or in thousands of cash advance stores nationwide. I even told her the advantages of applying online for cash advance loans. Imagine you don’t have to stand in line at the stores which would probably take hours, you can complete your application from home and anonymously from the public and most specially you get your cash advance checks faster. She thanked me and said that she will immediately check the website of cashadvance1500.com.

Later tonight, she called me back and told me that she checked the site and was so amazed by it. She said that all she needed to do was to choose an online payday lender, which cashadvance1500.com will also help and gives pointers so you will be able to make the right decision. She mentioned also about their minimum requirements which consists of: at least 3 consecutive months of being employed, earning $1000 and have a valid checking account for at least 3 months. I think these are reasonable requirements if you will be getting between $100 to $1500 cash advance from them. Don’t you think?

Anyways, we said our goodnights and goodbyes and she again thanked me and said that she will be able to sleep well now. I could sense her sigh of relief. So if in the future we happen to need a quick cash advance loans, we know where to turn to, we just have to check out cashadvance1500.com.

Blogthings

Last night I was talking to Aling Tess, my online buddy, and told her that I can't think of anything to post on my blog. She suggested that I check blogthings.com, So I did and I found this one... "The It's Its There Their They're Quiz". Yeah sometimes they are confusing :)

You Scored an A

You got 10/10 questions correct.

It's pretty obvious that you don't make basic grammatical errors.
If anything, you're annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs.
As far as people with bad grammar go, you know they're only human.
And it's humanity and its current condition that truly disturb you sometimes.

The one thing that isn't true on this assessment is the second part that says I get annoyed when people make simple mistakes on their blogs. Coz I don't. Oh well, ok I'd say sometimes.. and sometimes I find it funny too... Oh shoot! Now you think I'm an evil person :D I make mistakes too you know :)

Anyways, feel free to do this when you get the chance. Thanks for dropping by.

Source You Can Rely On...TrustSource.org

Since I started blogging, I’m very into it and I read my friends’ blogs as much as I can. TrustSource.org is one of the sites that I have been hearing and reading about. It is a site wherein you can find and read reviews from people who have already used certain products.

One time, I was watching Tyra Bank’s talk show and their topic is about people who are suffering from hair loss. So I immediately went online and went to TrustSource.org and checked out what causes hair loss, how you can prevent it and most specially what products work if you are suffering from it. For sure there are hundreds of products in the market that claims they are the best so you will all be undecided and confused on which one to use. That is when TrustSource.org come into the picture. They will help you make the best choice as on their site, they rank the products based on sales data, consultation to health professionals and of course their customers’ rates and reviews. Take for example provillus and procerin, they are just a few products for hair loss that has been rated and reviewed in TrustSource.org by people who have used them. But not only that, they also have a guide to help prevent hair loss. From overview to background so you will understand more about it.

So next time, if you are totally confused on tons of products out in the market that says their product works, check out TrustSource.org first and if it’s there, you know it is the one of the best!

Online Shopping Botique

Last month, my mother-in-law attended a gathering where in she was given an award for something great that she did. She invited me to go with her but I refused because I didn’t have a nice dress to wear. By the way, I’m a fan of just the basic jeans and shirts. She told me that I should buy me a few nice clothing so when I need it, I already have one on hand. Since then, I’m on a look out for a clothing that’s great for my body type and would not hurt my pocket.

One day, when I was browsing around one of my friends’ blog, I read her posts about tobi.com. I checked it out and found that they have tons of velvet apparel. Boy was I amazed! Not only they have velvet clothes, they also carry tons of other brand names for women and men alike. They also have accessories like lingerie, handbags, jewelries and beauty products. When you visit Tobi.com its like you’re a kid in a candy store. You won’t be able to decide which one you’d like to buy, whether its velvet clothing or any other brands because there are plenty of options. And if it is in fact the case, worry not because you can speak to tobi.com’s online stylist to help you choose what would suit your personality fashion wise.

So hurry and check it out as they have 80% markdowns on lots of their products and have the chance of winning a $1000 shopping spree at tobi.com.

Save up 70% Off on Hotels, Motels and more...

Las Vegas, Disneyland, Waikiki Beach are some of the places in my “to visit” list. Eiffel Tower, Great Wall of China, Jamaica, The Bahamas and many more are also in my list. I have been bugging my husband about going to one of these places because it’s been a while since we had our last vacation. He said he’ll think about it. I've been dying to see this places. Just take a look at the images below, aren't they georgous?!

We had a not so nice experience in getting a hotel because when we had our last trip to Minnesota we ended up way, way over budget and said that he didn’t want that to happen again. Well, I said that we don’t have to worry about it anymore as I found hotelreservations.com, a wonderful site that offers great deals in hotels, motels, vacation rentals/packages, resorts and a lot more. Imagine how good of a deal we can get when we have our hotel reservations with them, as they offer a hotel discount of up to 70%. And no matter where you want to go around the globe, you will sure get an awesome deal because they offer very good prices. How do I know that? Well, since we had our bad experience in getting a hotel, I have been shopping around, checking prices in different sites and I’m telling you hotelreservations.com is the best site that offers an impressive and competitive prices, that is why they are on top of my list. If you are traveling with your whole family or friends, they also offer great group rates. You can also use hotelreservations.com’s complete city guide to research and plan your next trip. Book online or you can simply call them. It’s never easier than that.

If my husband is still gonna be busy this year, I would probably ask my mom-in-law to go on a trip with me. She’s been telling me that she wants to go back to the Philippines and visit the casinos there, our nice beach resorts and other vacation spots. Since I have not seen my family for almost 6 years now, I think this is the great time to visit them. I can stay in our house for sure, but since I will be having my son and my mother-in-law with me, it'll be much more comfortable to stay in a hotel. So i think hotelreservations.com will sure come in handy, because I know I can get a very good deal with them. I will not be worrying about spending too much money this time and that is the very best part of it.

My Day

Nothing much happening here...Today, Cheryl came by and we decided to go to the grocery store. On our way in, there's an old lady who's so kind to give us the cart that she used. By the way, in that grocery store, you need a quarter to be able to get a cart. The lady said, that she's giving it to us coz, somebody just gave it to her too.. It's like paying it forward :)

So we went it, I got little boy his favorite Cinnamon Danish and I got me a Cheese Danish. After getting a few more items, we went ahead to pay and go. Dropped by at the bank to get some cash and then went to McDonald's. Aside from the Cinnamon Danish, my boy here loves McDo's Double Cheeseburger. He loves it so much sometimes he'd ask for a burger for breakfast! Geez! I don't want him to eat a lot of fastfood though coz in my opinion it's not that healthy.

We got to the house then Che checked her e-mails and then chatted for a while and decided to spend the night here. I watched a tagalog movie entitled "The Promise" starring Richard Gutierrez and Angel Locsin. And you know me ehehehe ofcourse, I cried specially during the last part :)

So that's how I spent my day. Nothing special goin' on. :) Till next time! You all take care!

Trying To Be Fit?

When I was younger, I wasn’t so concern about dieting nor exercising because I only weigh a little under a 100 lbs. But when I got here in the U.S., I eventually gained some pounds on and off. Then I got pregnant for the first time. After giving birth, I started to be concerned about it because I gained a whopping 20 lbs.!!! To some it might not be a big of a deal because they can lose it in a matter of weeks. But as for me, I find it hard to lose weight. First of all, I don’t have the motivation, I don’t have the drive.

Browsing around the net, I found myfitnesspal.com. They have a 100% free calorie counter, calorie chart and diet journal. They will help you, or us I should say, to track meals and exercise quickly and easily. Also, it works with any diet plan if you already have one. And if you don’t have the motivation like I do, they have a forum where you can share, receive tips and encouragement from other people like us. Plus joining is TOTALLY FREE! We can surely keep our credit cards away because we won’t be paying a cent. What are we waiting for??! Let’s start a healthy living and lose weight. It’s not too late. I’m sure it isn’t.

Addicted!

Last Monday, I got the chance to sleep early (wohoo!) coz I didn't feel like working or blogging or even playing at Winster. As a result, I woke up a few minutes before 3 a.m. Knowing me, ofcourse, the first thing I would do is to turn my computer on :D Still, don't know what I wanna to do, so I decided to check if I got some work, found none, ended up fooling around my computer and found trial games like Cake Mania (which I got addicted too at one point), Diner Dash, Wedding Dash, and finally CHOCOLATIER. It's a tycoon type of game. The setting is in the 1880's. It's like you're building an empire by buying, trading, selling chocolates, and collecting recipes :) It has an excellent graphics. Nice story line. The CONS... very time consuming and addicting!!! I started playing at around past 3 a.m. and forced to stop at 3 in the afternoon! :D (had a bathroom break though ehehehe and made my son breakfast and lunch). Now please tell me I'm not addicted to chocolates :D

You can check it out on Yahoo games or BigFish games. Although they'd just give you 60 minutes trial, it is still fun. I have it on my computer built-in so I get to play for as long as I want for up to 4 plays before the trial ends.

Until next blog! :)

A Promise

I promised my friend Sharon that I'd post her Avon website on my blog. You guys might wanna check it out. I love some of their products and the fact that they are so affordable. A few months back I bought their Perfect Match Loose Powder, and Smooth Mineral Make-up. I rarely use the make-up though coz I only put stuff like that on my face during very special occasions ehehehe. One of my Avon faves is Sweet Honesty. :)

Again, thanks for reading! :)

Can't think of anything to post, so...

Hidden Talent???

This is a tag from Aling Tikya about hidden talent. I didn't know I had one and not really sure if the result really fits me ehehehe... so here it is:

Your Hidden Talent
You're super sensitive and easily able to understand situations. You tend to solve complex problems in a flash, without needing a lot of facts.Decision making is easy for you. You have killer intuition. The right path is always clear, and you're a bit of a visionary.

A Bit Scary!

Wew! I finally got my internet connection back. But I didn't have much time to update my blog right away just yet coz I'm still a little busy trying to settle down here in the house.

I was a bit scared tonight coz at around past 9 p.m. somebody rang the doorbell. I took a peek at the door window and no one was there.. checked the side door and no one was there. Its a bit odd coz we have a motion light, so if someone is trying to approach the door it will be triggered to come on but it didn't. This is the second time. The first one was the other day... it was afternoon, so I'm not worried, plus hubby was here. I told my hubby about it and called my MIL too. I'm not sure if our neighbors is trying to play tricks on us, as some kind of initiation or "welcome to the neighborhood" thingy or the doorbell connection is grounded or something. Who knows. The only thing that's keeping me from panic mode is the fact that later this afternoon our house alarm system was installed. But I'm telling you my heart is still beating so fast right now :)

Anyways, I'm not gonna think about it anymore as I will just be more scared if I keep doing that. We'll keep you all posted on what's goin on here, as usual :) You all take care! Laters!

Quick Update

Hi!!!!!My goodness gracious!! I missed being online.. I missed visiting and reading your blogs.

So here's a quick update on what's going on with me....We moved to a new house and as a result I have to transfer my internet services to the new address, which till now is not happening. They'll transfer it on September 6th. I guess by then, I will be able to regularly update my blog and visit yours as well.. Without internet is like I am gonna die or somethin'. Life is so boring at home. Imagine no internet, no cable t.v. and no landline phone geez! Oh that's because we are signed up to those bundle thingy :) 3 of them in one bill. It sure is a good deal, that's why i decided to stick with them. Plus the service is really great.

Anyways, I'm here at my mom-in-laws house that's why i got the chance to post a quick update on my blog. Please bear with me once again. As soon as I get my connection, I will visit your blogs again.

Before I go, I would like to thank all of you for dropping me a note endlessly. I sure appreciate it. Till next time folks! Again, thanks very very much. Pardon me if I have typo errors.. I'm in a hurry ehhehehe... later and you all take care!
