Considering Surgery to Lose Weight?

Have you ever considered having a surgery to lose weight? I have been seeing on a lot of talk shows on television that overweight or being obese is one of the problems that most people are dealing with. So I did a little research on what action should be taken to deal with such situation. One thing that popped out on my internet research is the Conroe Lap Band. One of the best doctors that performs this lap band surgery is Dr. Richard E. Collier. He is the foremost lap band doctor in Houston Area. Maybe you are thinking what is lap band surgery? Well, it is a silicone band that is placed around the stomach to prevent a person from eating excessively. It is only a restrictive device that can be adjusted or removed if needed. Also, there’s no stapling or intestinal re-routing, it has lowest operative complication rate plus no nutritional risk.

So if you are interested, why don’t you check out more of Dr. Richard E. Collier who specializes in laparoscopic adjustable gastric banding procedure or LapBand System. As just an ordinary passer by, I am no one to recommend or abuse gastric surgery. But, with every other form of surgery I feel one must be fully prepared to know the benefits, side-effects, ill-effects etc.

Last year, my best friend's husband who was suffering from morbid obesity finally decided to do something about the weight. After many diets and exercise routines, he still could not succeed. Finally, he considered lap band surgery and admitted himself at My Weight Loss Surgeon. Now, he and his family could not be happier. It was a tremendous success!
