Not Ready

I am not ready for this cold weather. Came back from taking my son to school and it was freaking cold. It's just 27 degrees, but I feel like it's below zero. My face is still freezing lol. I bet it will be snowing anytime soon. I am not looking forward to that. I still prefer the fall weather. I like it when the temp is in the 60s :)

Another Field Trip

We are going to another field trip again. Anyway, this field trip is for selected students only. It is a PBIS [Positive Behavior Intervention Support] Field Trip. I think it’s given to those students who showed positive and good behavior at school. Anyway, we will be watching a play entitled “If You Give a Moose a Muffin”. It will be held in Governor’s State University. I’m not sure where that is [have not Googled it yet :P], but I think it’s in University Park, IL. I’ll check it later though :)

Last Day

I’ve been working in my present job for over 9 months. I like the job itself, but sometimes dealing with the people around me is not my favorite thing in the world, really. Actually, I’m not talking about my co-workers, because they are great. It’s some of the people that I have to deal with for four long weeks is those that I can’t just stand at times. Anyways, I submitted my resignation letter last Monday. Today is in fact my last day. It’s bitter sweet ehehehehe I don’t wanna leave, but I think leaving is the best thing for me right now. I am going to stay at home for a while before I look for another job. I will enjoy every minute of it :) I will be working full time as a farmer on Farm Town on Facebook! Lol!

The Boy Is Excited !

Goodness gracious! My son is so excited! This boy has been bugging me about how many days before he goes on a field trip. They [well, actually WE because I’m going too as a chaperone :)] are going to Brookfield Zoo. He’s never been there that’s why he is so thrilled and can’t wait for the day. It will be on the 14th though. So, it’s still a few more days, but geez! He’s counting down the minutes. Lol!

Updating

Oh boy! I been wanting to update this blog for the longest, but every time I try to, laziness would hit me. I don't know why. I feel like I have plenty to say, but I couldn't just let it out! I'd end up sitting here and just stare on my computer screen… Kinda speechless lol Oh well, hopefully, when I start blogging again, it would continue. I’m crossing my fingers :)

Blizzard 2011

Wow! The snow started at around 2:00 and still hasn't stop. The wind is blowing like 35mph and it's a total white out here in the Chicagoland. The meteorologists said that we're expecting around 18-20 inches of snow, 24 inches even. I hope everyone is home. Stay warm and safe. I feel bad coz my husband has to go to work. :( Wish he could just stay home with us.

Last Day

Today is my last day at work. I work at the daycare center. I love my job and the kids, however, it's sometimes overwhelming. Yup! It sure could give you a headache when 10 kids are crying all at the same time, sometimes even more lol... What are you gonna do? They are babies... love 'em I'd actually miss them much, especially my fave kids... ssshhhh.. love them all but I do have fave... really! :)

Party ?

Hey everyone! Just stopping by to greet everybody a very happy 2011! Let's hope that this year is going to be a fruitful one for all of us.

So what are you all gonna do? For us, we are staying at home, watch the countdown on t.v later on. My sister is downtown right now with friends. They'll be spending the NYE at one of the cruise ships in Navy Pier. I know she will have a great time watching the fireworks display. Anyway, enjoy and be safe!

Can't Wait

My son and I can't really wait for it to be 6 o'clock p.m. Why? Because today is my sister's arrival from Egypt. I have not seen her for almost 10 years so I am really, really excited! :) Kuletz don't even wanna go to school coz he wants to go straight to the aiport lol! He'll be meeting his Aunt for the very first time and so he's really excited. Anyway, they will have plenty of time together.. My sister will be staying here till January 14th. It'll be fun!

Oh Please!

Oh please! No snow! I heard on the news that it's supposed to snow today that would accumulate to about 4-5 inches. I love snow, however I don't wanna drive on it, coz most of the time the roads are slippery and you can't control your vehicle. It's just not fun, but I still like to play with it

Around The Corner

It's just so unbelievable how time flies! It's December 1st already. Christmas is just right around the corner and 2010 is almost over. We haven't had any Christmas decorations yet. Hubby usually puts up the tree after Thanksgiving, I'm not sure if he's gonna do it this year. We'll see! Anyways, I'm getting ready to go to work and just wanted to say enjoy your day!

Hungry

It's 2:49 a.m. and I can't sleep... I have to wake up at 6:30 a.m. to get ready for work and get my son ready for school. I am hungry and I am craving for some Chinese food... I haven't had some Chinese food in a while. I want some Mongolian beef and some beef lo mein :P That's why I can't lose weight lol! Food is always on my mind.. Heck! Eating is better than dieting lol! :)

Happy Thanksgiving !

I just wanted to say that this is one of the most awesome Thanksgiving ever! I am very thankful for all the good things (and not so good things) that's happening in my life right now, but most of all I am so thankful that I PASSED the CNA state exam! All my efforts, sleepless nights doing homework has finally paid off :) Yay! Now I can sleep a little bit better :) Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Busy Bee

I've been a busy bee since the first week of October. I am thankful that my director approved my request of working part-time. Why? Because I wanted to go to school to get into a CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) program. Anyway, I was able to make it to the program and finished it on my target date. I've also been busy reviewing to take the state exam which is actually tomorrow, November 12, 2010. I'm a little anxious, nervous and excited! Crossing my fingers to hopefully pass the darn thing!

Just Cute

This is just some of my son's drawings. I think he has a lot of potential :) He said the picture is about him... he's at the lake fishing... it really looks like his fishing rod and see the bait? lol! It's just so cute! I am sure he can't wait for the summer to come because fishing is one of his favorite things to do.

Better But...

Since December 23rd, I have not been feeling well. I can't believe I was sick on Christmas day. I found a bit of energy to cook a wonderful dinner for my family though. After having dinner with my hubby and son, I went straight to bed and rested. I missed and still miss hugging and kissing the men of my life coz up to this time I still have the "remnants" of this horrible cold. I am feeling better though.
